Air University Tuition Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for each semester must be paid in advance and within the stipulated period. First semester’s fees are charged as equivalent to the average semester fee and adjusted in subsequent semesters. Tuition Fees are to be paid only upon receipt of the bill from the Office of Finance. The bill will be sent to all registered students AFTER they have formally registered for the courses. The fees must be settled within the deadline as stipulated in the bill.

Students who fail to pay fees within the stipulated periods will have their names struck off the Air University roles. A student whose name has been thus struck off but who is otherwise eligible to continue his/her candidature will be reinstated only after he/she has settled all outstanding fees / fines and paid re-admission fee as applicable at the time.

Note: All Fees, except security fee, are non-refundable.

Admission of result awaiting candidates will be cancelled if they fail to meet the minimum eligibility criteria after declaration of the awaited result and tuition fees, if submitted, will be refunded. Students are not allowed to drop courses during their first two semesters. Refunds for dropped courses from third semester onwards are issued as per policy outlined in student handbook.

Admission Guidelines

Application forms can be downloaded from the Dow University of Health Sciences website. Application forms should be submitted along with all required documents of eligibility to the UBL Baba-e-Urdu Road branch, Karachi, along with a pay order of Rs.1,500.

Last date for submission of application form is December 08, 2011.

Entrance Test will be held on December 20, 2011. Venue and time will be mentioned on admit card.

Candidates if government servants should apply through proper channel with an advance copy to the Admission Cell, Dow University of Health Sciences with NOC from the government. No TA/DA will be paid neither accommodation will be provided to any candidate.

The applications received after the last date will not be accepted. Applications submitted directly to the office of the Registrar will also not be accepted.

Dow University of Health Sciences has advised no personal contact, and has asked for all correspondence to be done through the given email.

Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from the Bahria University, Karachi Campus, Monday to Saturday (9 am to 6 pm). Please take attested photocopy of marks sheet of Intermediate/O Level and A Level equivalency/Bachelor’s degree to obtain the application form.

Prospectus/Admission Processing Fee:

Candidates awaiting results of Intermediate Supplementary/ equivalent examination are eligible to apply for respective programs with Hope Certificate/undertaking for private candidates. A photocopy of filled in application form is to be made. With each copy of the application form, a set of required documents is to be submitted.

Bachelor’s programs offered at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University are:

B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture – Four years (Morning/Evening)

• F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% Marks or equivalent.
• Candidates must have domicile from Districts of Barani Areas of Punjab other than open merit, special quotas and evening program.
• For each quota separate application form should be submitted.
• For Cholistan quota, certificate of Cholistan Authority mentioning that the area falls in Cholistan should be attached along with the application form.
• Application forms of nominated candidates of different quotas should be submitted along with nomination before the closing date.
• Schedule of enrollment will be strictly followed.

DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) – Five years (Morning)

• F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks.
• Candidate must have domicile from the districts of Barani areas of Punjab and Islamabad.
• For Open Merit seats are on all Punjab basis.

Admission Schedule

• Last date for submissions of application form is September 17, 2011.
• List of selected candidates will be displayed on September 22, 2011 on Notice Boards of the respective Admission Office.
• Last Date to deposit the fee/dues is September 26, 2011.
• Classes will start from October 3, 2011.

Important Note

The Application Package containing the prospectus and admission form will be available from the offices of the respective Faculties/Institutes/Division on payment of Rs.700 in cash.

Applications, complete in all respects, accompanied by the academic credentials, domicile certificate, migration certificate, etc. must be submitted to the respective admission office within the due date. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.

GAT (General) is compulsory with 50% pass marks for admission in M.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Phil./MS.

GAT (Subject) is compulsory with 60% pass marks for admission in Ph.D. where applicable.

University based GAT subject test for Forestry and Range Management & Wildlife Management will be held on September 19, 2001 at 10:00 am.

Interview of those who qualify for Ph.D will be held on September 20, 2011 at 9:00 am in respective faculties.

Applicants must have obtained all the pre-requisite qualifications from the recognized institutions.

No separate intimation for admission, fee schedule, etc. will be sent.

Students can calculate their own merit based on criteria available in respective admission offices.
